Mobile & Wireless Roundup No. 166
By Zahid Ghadialy

Welcome to the 166th edition of this newsletter. Wishing all my readers a happy new year. The last few weeks were very busy as I wrapped up a couple of projects. As is often the case, challenges never really stop, which means there is always work to be done.
While I expected the holiday period to be relatively quiet, there were quite a few news items and announcements. Let’s get into them without delay, and I will catch up on the rest during the week.
For those of you who don’t know me, I am a technologist with over 25 years’ experience in mobile and wireless technology, currently working as an independent advisor, analyst, consultant, and trainer. This newsletter is a summary of my own posts and other news that caught my attention since the last edition.
